New Fall Courses for Familienzentrum Schwabing

Dear Parents and Friends of the Familienzentrum Schwabing (FZ)

Below is a list of upcoming courses that will be held at the FZ until the end of the year.

Deutsch Krabbelgruppe
For mothers to meet others with babies/infants, the Deutsch Krabbelgruppe is ideal for infants to play and hear German music in a baby friendly environment.
Age of Child: new born +
Start Date: Wednesday, 5th October
Time: 10:00 - 11:30
Price: €3 per week


English Krabbelgruppe
For mothers to meet others with babies/infants, the English Krabbelgruppe is ideal for infants to play and hear English music in a baby friendly environment.
Age of Child: new born +
Start Date: Friday, 7th October
Time: 11:00 - 12:30
Price: €3 per week


German Conversational Class
Conversational German for adults will run once a week for 8 weeks. The course will be conducted in a casual setting. The topics of discussion will be of interest to the group.
Date: Mondays or Tuesdays
Time: 10:00 - 11:30
Course: 8 classes
Donation: €5 per week


English Club for Little Kids
Taught by a native English speaker, the English Club for Little Kids is ideal for children who want toplay games, learn to read and speak only in English. A great way to assist and stimulate children to learn and remember the English language.
Age of Child: 3 – 5 years
Start Date: Tuesday, 4th October
Time: 16:00 – 17:30
Price: 8 classes x 1.5 hours for €80 (€10 per class)



Toddler Music and Movement in English
Age of Child: 18months - 3 years
Start Date: Friday, 2nd September
Time: 10:00 - 10:45
Teacher: Janel from the Munich International School, a qualified music and singing teacher.
Lesson structure: learning to understand different -
* musical sounds
* sounds from various instruments
* bodily movements with a beat
* song structures
Price: €72 (8 classes @ €9 each)


Little Kids Music in English
Age of Child: 3 - 4 years
Start Date: Friday 2nd September
Time: 14:30 – 15:15
Teacher: Janel from the Munich International School, a qualified music and singing teacher.
Lesson structure: learning to understand -
* complex musical sounds
* to play some basic instruments
* song structures
* dancing to a beat
Price: €72 (8 classes @ €9 each)


Little Picassos – Creative Art for Young Minds ®
Little Picassos, taught in English, provides the opportunity for children to express themselves by building confidence and self-esteem in an inspirational environment. The emphasis is to introduce anumber of art concepts in a fun, explorative way with parents and caregivers on standby to encourage and assist, as each child undertakes two projects per class.
Age of Child: 18mths – 3 years
Start Date: Wednesday, 2nd November
Time: 15:30 – 16:15
Teacher: Cynthia, a marketing and creative professional.
Price: 8 classes x 45mins for €64 (€8 per class)
